“You know,” she trailed, I could hear the smile in her tone. “Your indifference kind of turns me on.”
“It’s cute,” she said in an amused tone. “When the color of your face matches your hair.”
I cleared my throat and gave her a smile. Her eyes widened and she straightened her posture. A light blush coated her cheeks before she cleared her throat as well.
“Do you want to go get drunk?” she said after a moment. I don’t think I had ever gotten up faster in my life.
Anxiety and panic rose up in me, and I pulled the blankets tighter. They still smelled like her.
“I hope you can play the part again,” I said and reached over to tug on the end of her ponytail. “Try not to fall in love with me.” She smacked my hand away, but I didn’t miss the flush of red that creeped up her neck.
“That would be bad for you,” I tried to whisper as low as possible. The other vampires had yet to look over to us, but I knew they could hear if they strained. “I think it would be really good for me,” she said with a small chuckle. “And if my plan works well enough, I can take you into one of the rooms and eat that wet cunt of yours until you forget your own name.”
“I am going to kill him,” she growled. The sound of the chair’s fabric ripping filled the air. “Slowly, painfully, and I’ll make him beg for your forgiveness just before I take his life.”
“Now cover your mouth so they don’t hear you come on the hands of the person you hate,” she growled.
This place now paled in comparison to the sight before me. I didn’t care about the waterfall or the meadow, I only wanted to make sure that this sight would be burned into my memory forever. If this was the sight that I could see for the rest of eternity, I would have no qualms about ruling. I would rule for this, for her, and nothing else.
“And if I ask you to bite me again?” I whispered. The air stilled and Keir turned stiff against me and pulled her hand out of my underwear. “You are testing my control, Silvia,” she said. My name flowed off her tongue with ease and heated my body. “Maybe I want you to lose it,” I said.
“You know I am never going to let you go after this, right?” she asked, her voice heavy.
After feeding from her, I decided that I could never feed from another again.
“I’ll make sure you’re so fully obsessed with me by the end of this that you don’t even dare think of anyone else. It’s the least you could do after so thoroughly messing with my mind like this.”
I was ready to give her the world and burn anyone who even looked at her wrong,
