Theo. Teddy. The boy next door who happened to be my hero.
He’s always watching me. Even when we were little, I would catch him staring. Studying. I always wanted to know what he was thinking. If he was as fascinated with me as I’ve always been with him.
She’s so fucking…infuriating. But gorgeous too. Like a tornado. Or a storm. A tsunami, maybe.

“Friends don’t kiss friends.” “I don’t want to be friends, Blake.”
Me: I’m not sure if you’ve been hit in the head one too many times, but I’m not your girl. Theo: You’ve always been my girl. Sorry it took me so long to see it.
“Nah. I already got what I wanted.” “Oh, really?” “Yeah.” “And what’s that?” His smile softens, but the crinkles around his eyes make my heart pitter-patter away. “You.”
“You’re always the exception, Blake. Always.”
Apparently, I’m a glutton for punishment. Then again, I’m in love with Theodore Taylor, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.
