You Shouldn't Have Come Here

There was something both beautiful and terrifying about isolation. It made you feel important and insignificant at the same time.

Finally, a thriller. This one promised a twisty ending I wouldn’t see coming. It seemed every thriller promised that these days, but few actually delivered.

I could salvage this and enjoy the rest of my time here. The most pleasurable things in life are temporary. Most people don’t understand that. They want to drag it out and make it last a lifetime.

It’s ironic how the ones you care for most are the ones that are most easily able to crawl inside you and do damage.
