I wish nothing more than for all of you to get chased and f*cked in the woods by three hot alpha men.
“You need to find someone who cherishes the real you–the person you keep to yourself. The good, the bad, the ugly. The monster we all keep hidden. Find someone who sees that and doesn’t cower or hide, but instead, offers you a pedestal to stand on.”
“You sure you’re not already pregnant?” I laugh. “No. I have an IUD. That’s basically foolproof.” Smirking, she winks. “I bet twenty bucks that thing will be out of you before the end of the year.”
“I think you’ll forgive me after what I’m about to do to you tonight, princess.”
“You should get your IUD removed,” I add, waiting to see her reaction.
Briar and I snuggle up together toward the end of the night, and I swear, just as I’m drifting off into a whiskey-induced coma, I hear Silas whisper to Ledger. “How the fuck did we get so lucky?”
“Let’s fucking knock you up.” I grin, my stomach swooping with how happy he looks. “Really?” He finishes his coffee and sets it down. “Hell yeah.” He cocks his head. “Call your doctor tomorrow.” “Why?” I ask, my hands shaking slightly. “Because she’s going to take your IUD out… or we will.”
“A phoenix, for the princess who rose from the ashes. Long may she reign.”
I want her to grow and birth our baby–because that’s what this child will be. Our baby, no matter who ends up being the biological father.
“Who would’ve thought… Jude Vanderbilt… a true romantic,” I mock, and he bends down to kiss me. “I have one job,” he replies, glancing down at the space between my legs. “You better fucking bet I’m going to succeed in knocking you up this week.”
“Catch me if you can,” I muse, twisting my lips to the side. “I dare you,” I add, looking pointedly at Silas when I say it. “And what’s the prize?” Damon asks, crossing his arms. I cock my head and begin to walk backward. “Me.” And then I turn and run as fast as I can through the forest.
Suddenly, all three of them drop to their knees, and Damon holds out a green velvet box.
Even all those years ago, my soul loved yours.”
“I’ve never wanted to flip you over and fill you with my come more than I do right now.”
