Her milky white skin teased him. It took every ounce of his
strength not to turn around and take her. Despite the passion rising from the depths of his being, he stood his ground, stealing glimpses until she had slipped between the blankets and settled in.
He shook his head as if to clear his thoughts. He smiled to himself, he had the most beautiful bride in the whole of Scotland and that was all that mattered.
Ava settled into her wifely duties easily. Zander didn’t require them from her but she did look forward to making their bed, seeing to his laundry, and even overseeing the preparation of his meals. It filled her heart with joy to see him taken care of. He deserved everything; he had saved her from so much misery. She shuddered at the thought that she could very well have been entertaining her thousandth suitor if he hadn’t come into her life.
Ava held his face and leaned in for a kiss. She intended to make it a short kiss but he wasn’t having it, he pulled her closer and let his tongue into her soft mouth.
“Yer goin’ to see another man,” he said jaunting his bottom lip out into a pout as his hands roamed over her body, stroking the flames of her desires. “Aren’t I enough?”
“Maybe he could cook up something delicious,” she said in biting her lower lip. Zander’s heart fluttered as his mind skipped and danced about all the things he wanted to do to her. The way she nibbled on her lip drove him crazy jealous. All he wanted was to please her, to have her. Hurriedly he undid her top and freed her breasts from their confinement. Ever so delicately, he cupped his hands around them. Leaning forward, he suckled on her nipple. The way she squirmed under him thrilled him more than words could say.
Moving gently, Ava rocked her hips, begging for him to consume her. There was not a part of her soul she wasn’t willing to give up to him. For she knew that by giving him everything she had, he would do the same.
Staring at him, she noticed the way he looked at her. His eyes filled with desires and lusts she knew she could never quench. All she could do was subdue the raging passion swelling within him. A smirk flashed across Zander’s lips as he moved.
“I love ye, Alexander. Ye are a man of integrity and honor. I ken ye daenae have it in ye to kill anyone. But ye are a thief. For ye have stolen my heart.”
“Aye, ye look like a sea witch with yer hair loose about yer neck and yer nipples staring at me like berries, as if they are ready to be plucked from the bush.”
