“Why is that bitch even important to this? She has nothing to do with Stitches or specter.” “Doesn’t she?” Asylum stared right at Church. “She’s a little key to a vast kingdom, I’d say. You still don’t believe me, though.”
“Church lured her in like a spider waiting, and then he and Sin killed her. She screamed
for them to listen to her as you flicked your lighter. Open. Close. Open. Close. Five times. A pause. Five more times.” He closed his eyes and breathed in deeply as my guts churned. “Mm. Yes. The watchers removed her body when life left it, and you set it ablaze to become nothing but ash and bone. Her bones are. . .” He snapped his eyelids open and cocked his head as I held my breath.
“Fucking. . . no. Come on. Fuck. Focus, Seth.”
Seth (Mirage) is with Sirena in the medical ward. Asylum (Sylar) is with the watchers here.
Told the guys to avoid the path and go through the woods so they would be discovered, including Asylum. Perhaps raise questions why he’s here if he was also currently with Sirena. Twins.
“His mind isn’t in a good spot. It’s. . . foggy. I can’t fucking see...” Asylum let out a groan and tugged his hair more, words I couldn’t decipher spilling from his mouth. “Touch. Touch. Touch. He cries for his mama and cuts his sins from his face. He will. . . join us. Join us. Yes. He’ll join us soon. Rinny. . . Angel. . . Firefly. It’ll work. It will work. Fall in line. Fall in line.”
“We won’t kill the wicked just yet. When Stitches walks free, he’ll be broken. It’s up to you to care for him. His angel will help.” He frowned. “Sirena. Only when he’s accepted himself and the situation will it be time to end it. He’ll make love to her on a Thursday, and on Friday, the world will burn. Ashes.”
“You’ll burn the world with Mirage a...

“You know Mirage. Mirage is one thing outwardly but something else completely inwardly. Mirage wants revenge.”
“I am with her. Always.”
“They think I’m crazy. I am…I am crazy. They wonder why I don’t just leave with her. Why I don’t drag him out of the loony bin…They don’t know…No, they don’t know what’s at stake…I only take the lives of the unworthy, but this time. . . They need to understand.”
Church let out a sigh. “Just. . . fucking go back to your room, you nut job. And keep my family safe.”
“Surely not all your family? Your father. . . we should bury him with the bones beneath Sully’s office too. Yes?”
“What’s this drug?” I asked, licking my lips. “It’s some tainted form of a new drug they’re experimenting with. You’re the lab rat. Good luck. You’ll need it once the dose kicks in.” The ward moved away and left the room without a backward glance.
“When you cut up the body parts for your father. . . did you also dine with him?”
“I. . . know the trade. I know your sins. Most of them. These are just not speaking to me.”
She will have a baby someday.
“I don’t fucking know, but something isn’t right. The Asylum I saw today was different.”
“He has scars. I saw them today in the woods. On his wrists.”
“I’ll kidnap you, Rinny. You’ll have an evil stepfather. He’ll hurt you.”
“Your daddy is going to leave. Then you’ll have a mean stepdad. But don’t worry because you’re a princess, Rinny. I’ll save you. I promise.”
Quickly, I rushed to a corner where Daddy was building a strange big box.
We’ll only hurt the ones who hurt us. I’ll be the bad guy, so you won’t have to, OK?”
“Things are going to get really scary, Rinny. OK? When you’re with me, stay. When Sully comes and it scares you, hide. I’ll protect you from him. You can shimmer in and out and be whoever you need to be to
stay safe. My sweet pirate princess or. . .”
Your vicious little...

“Love,” he whispered. “Still love. There is no past tense with us, Rinny.”
“I promise. You have my word. But if you fail, I’ll take her from you and Dante. There’s a debt that needs to be paid.
I’ll need your services if you manage to pull this off. It’s part of our deal.”
I’d been away far too long it seemed. But even crazy men needed a day off. In my case, it just meant I was taking my frustrations out elsewhere.
Fuck, so much blood. The money was good though, so I shouldn’t complain. And I wasn’t. I was reveling in it. If the skies could rain blood for me, it would be perfect. Mostly. I did like sunshine on occasion. I had to prove to the watchers yellow really was my color.
Something wasn’t right though. He didn’t sound like Seth. Or maybe I’d been gone so long I’d lost touch with what his voice sounded like. This voice was more commanding. Darker and more threatening.
“Let’s waltz through the darkness. You light the way for me like you always have.”
