Sexual violence is not just something that happens to women. Our men also experience extraordinary rates of sexual violence, both in the way that they are seen as predators who are guilty before they’ve done anything at all as well as the sexual assaults that are endemic to prisons, or “rape factories,” as I have heard them described.
