My insatiable appetite threatened to consume me most days. But I got by. I had to. Pizza helped.
Phoenix might’ve been sort of a bad guy, but he was loyal to a select few: us. And he loved Bellamy, the kind of unconditional, sometimes messy, insanely strong love that said he’d burn everything down to keep that love safe and kill anyone who stood in his way. So, yeah. “Can’t say I’ve ever had that word used to describe me or anything of mine before. Cold is more like it.” “Once you turn on a light, it won’t seem cold anymore.”
Alastair’s earlier plan had just been tossed out the window like a rotten sack of potatoes.
