“I’m indifferent to gift giving. You already know I think Christmas is overcommercialized. But I agree with the sentiment that if you find something you know someone else will love, it’s a good feeling to give it to them. I just don’t think you should be under any obligation to find something for someone. Why buy something for someone just so you can check it off a list, not because it was truly heartfelt?”
