I didn’t bother pretending that Seth or Maz had forgotten the question. Seth was related to Austin and just as persistent as his twin. “We haven’t had much time at home the last few days. I’m planning to rework my bedroom a bit to find some space for a few things. Today’s going to be the real challenge. I usually get some little time in before I take my time getting ready. It’s going to be harder with Brax around.” To my surprise, Maz was the one who responded. “You’re always welcome to come to our place. We have a nice spare room that we could easily convert to a quiet space for you.” “Oh! That’s a great idea! Yes. Do you like blue? It’s already a light blue color and the carpet in there is super soft!” Momentarily too touched to speak, my pace slowed to a walk before my feet finally stopped and I stared at the two. “You two are serious?” They both stopped and studied me. “Mazdon’s right. It’s just the two of us. We know about it and can give you plenty of privacy and space. Just say the word.” I doubted that I’d take them up on the generous offer, but I wasn’t going to turn them down outright. At least not until I had time to think about it more. “That’s a really sweet offer. Let me think about it for a few days.”
