As the second shortest player to ever play professional hockey, I’d learned to not only play hockey, but play aggressive hockey. It meant I had a lot of penalty minutes and got into more fights than most centers did, but it also kept me out of trouble more often than not. I’d earned the respect of players on my team and others and they knew that I wouldn’t hesitate to retaliate.
