This group of men was the most unique I’d ever been around and for the first time since I’d been picked up by Boston, I felt like I fit in. There were no cliques or impossible bars to cross to be considered a member of the team. We played together, we fought together, we laughed together. It was refreshing after the last few years of feeling like I was on the outside of an organization that had, in theory, wanted me.
