Trevor was lying on his stomach in the middle of the room, a pile of pillows below him to cushion his ribs. His feet were swaying back and forth as he focused on the giant mat in front of him. I could see scribbles and coloring on it and somewhere in my brain, I wondered what it was that he was coloring on as I’d never seen anything like it before.
Then Brax moved, stepping forward, his lower stomach pressing against my knees, his hands bracing himself on either side of my thighs. He leaned in, the smell of sweat and earth and hard work not the turnoff it should have been, and brushed his lips against the shell of my ear as he whispered. “Were you being naughty? Did you get hard when you saw me walk in? Or were you already hard thinking about me?”

He was trying to be sweet and understanding, but I was caught up on what he’d called me. “LB?” The bashful grin he gave me sent those confusing emotions I’d been dealing with swirling in double time. Then he leaned in close and whispered into my ear. “I can’t quite call you my little bear in the locker room.”
His cheeks were still pink and he was trying to pull his thumb from his mouth and dry it on his blanket before I saw it. Running my finger down his cheek, I smiled at him. “Stop hiding it. I don’t mind.”
“I would never assume you weren’t equal. I can promise you that you’ll always know where I am.”
