We both learned something else about me that day: I could freeze any internal organ, even my own heart. Though Cade’s sword didn’t cut deep enough to touch my heart, the adrenaline from the puncture had me quickly shifting into Frost to protect all of my internal organs. With the knowledge of being able to freeze internally, it stood to reason that I could set myself on fire, which was another reason Blaze had to be controlled. If my emotions ever reached a boiling point, I may be my own demise.
