calling it now — Lily is an unreliable narrator. there’s a reason we don’t get chapters from her POV. she’s hiding something, an affair maybe, perhaps the baby is Jake’s. not hers. and she killed him for some reason but felt the need to keep him quiet, maybe he threatened to tell their spouses.
