I feel better, I feel a little more alive. But nothing can fill the hole in my heart, my life is essentially ashes rising from a roaring fire. Burned to the ground by Liam.
As I look into her eyes, I want to tell her something different, something meaningful. Any fucking thing to keep that adorable, happy grin on her face. I tuck a strand of blonde hair behind her ear, "Because you're worth it."
"And I wanted to see what it felt like to open those perfect legs with my hands... again."
he mumbles so quietly I almost couldn't hear him, "I'll fucking kill anyone who tries to take you from me." I smile at the words he thinks I don't hear as he helps me onto the black leather chair.
“You smell good,” she smiles, nuzzling against my side. She wants my hoodie, is what she means to say.
I thank the Heavens that he isn’t gentle with me during this, I want to be handled by a man with passion. I was so nervous when it came down to it that he would be careful, and I love that about him… any other time. This though, I need the passion.
I love her. And I never told her because I'm simply... a fucking idiot.
"I will love her endlessly, she deserves a man. Not a fucking coward."
“Ending a divorce party with a proposal?”
“Because you’re the one who I want to grow old with, right here by the ocean that never sleeps.”
