“At the end of the day,” Mason goes on after a long moment, “you’re dating someone who makes you happy, right?” Still not looking at him, I nod. “Okay, and this someone just happens to be a dude. What does it matter if you’re gay or not? Maybe he’s just the exception. Maybe he’s not. Still… it’s no one’s business but yours.”
