Whisperwood belonged to her and her lost sister, Flora. It was a private realm that had sprung to life between them, a make-believe world to endure through the worst of the war, a place to find comfort where little existed.
I loved the sweetness of this tale, woven together as one sister endlessly pursues the other. It had everything you could hope for in a good book - mystery, romance, loss, and hope amid a war-ravaged backdrop. I would highly recommend.
