“He said to tell you that while you were sleeping, he found forty-seven issues with our security, breached the fence multiple times, and that your cabin is so lacking he knows you sleep naked.” There was another pause, and then Fang’s voice came through again, clearly holding back laughter. “He’s saying you have a nice dick.”
Well, fuck. At least he liked my dick.
“She’ll take everything I care about. Don’t you understand that? She’ll tell War, and then you’ll know too, and then what do I have left? Nothing. If I don’t have either of you, there’s no fucking point in me being here.”
Because she deserved more. She deserved to feel safe. So did every other woman ever targeted by Jerry. And by Nash.
