When they returned to their room, Elmira poured herself a glass of wine and put her feet up on the sofa. Perepilichnyy wanted to join her but couldn’t. He spent most of that night in the bathroom, vomiting. Eventually, he crawled into bed. The next morning, he felt well enough to eat a full English breakfast.
