made a new manual as thick as a Harry Potter book, but there were only two rules that I really enforced, and that was under no circumstances that they fraternized inside or outside of work. I reminded them that they wouldn’t be finding their spouse at DHQ, and if they did, they’d both be out of a job. The other rule I heavily enforced was that they never, ever gossiped about the previous owner and the reason the company was turned over to me. Rule number two was the reason a lot of people had gotten the boot.
