About four months later, OxyContins started coming around my hometown as a recreational drug. I was like, “Oh I know these, I’ll take a couple.” The first time I snorted it, it was like I was back in the womb. It’s like the devil. It makes you feel everything you want to feel. If you want to disassociate and feel warm and nurtured, that’s what opioids do. It fucked me up.
