I don’t want to make what Amelia and I had… what Amelia and I have seem cheap because it’s not.
“Because the line between love and hate is thin,” I murmur softly. “So fucking thin. And I love you more than I hate you.”
“You can hate me all you want, little one. I’ll stand on the other side of the line and love you with the same strength and fierceness.”
