Felix sneered at him. “Want me to stab you in the face with a pair of fabric shears?” Avi could already feel his dick hardening. “Stop, you’re turning me on.”
Their verbal sparring was the highlight of every one of Avi’s days.
Felix stared at him with wide eyes. “Are you insane?” he shouted. “Clinically,” Avi confirmed, unable to stop the rage building within him, his breath puffing out of his nose like an angry bull.
When Calliope didn’t answer right away, Avi said, “If you’re pausing for dramatic effect, I promise you, our nipples are all rock hard with anticipation.”
“How are you a cold-blooded killer?” Felix asked, exasperated. “My love of murder doesn’t have anything to do with my capacity for cuddles. They’re not mutually exclusive.”
Felix fidgeted. “I don’t know. I wasn’t Avi Mulvaney’s kinda sorta fiancé/husband. I wasn’t the future/current son-in-law of Thomas Mulvaney. I don’t want to embarrass your dad.” Avi snickered. “Have you met Adam? Do you think you could ever do anything to us more embarrassing than the shit he’s pulled? He stole a yacht. Twice. He once skipped school and took the jet to London for a soccer game. He once got a royal so high, he almost missed his own wedding. All before he was twenty. Feel better?”
He’s one step away from giving up everything to spend his days hunting Bigfoot in the woods…and my father’s in love with him.”
“The only way you and I are leaving this world is together, in matching body bags. Take that how you will.”
