Avi licked his lower lip as he took in Felix’s long, nimble fingers and manicured nails sharpened into points. Fitting. “Want me to kiss them better?” Felix sneered at him. “Want me to stab you in the face with a pair of fabric shears?” Avi could already feel his dick hardening. “Stop, you’re turning me on.”
“You keep slapping me like that and I’m going to think you like me or something.”
“Do you want a relationship with him?” Noah asked. Was that an option? Waking up to Felix, going to bed with Felix, killing with him, fighting with him, holding his hand, fucking him whenever he wanted. Well, whenever Felix wanted. “Yes, please.”
“Yes. Fragile like a hand grenade,” Noah said. “Fucking handle with care or he’ll blow up your whole goddamn life.”
Yeah, but he’s like a murdery golden retriever. Fiercely loyal but willing to kill.
Avi shook his head like he was frustrated. “Boyfriend? Life partner? Soulmate? Husband? I don’t know. I just want to be yours.”
Life isn’t meant to be lived in moderation. We only get one chance at this, and I have no interest in depriving myself of things I enjoy knowing that they’ll disappear someday. Or that I will. What’s the point of living if you’re just going to keep yourself locked away from ever experiencing life?”
“My love of murder doesn’t have anything to do with my capacity for cuddles. They’re not mutually exclusive.”
Felix crawled up onto the bed and starfished. “This is nice. This comforter feels like it’s made of clouds and puppies.” “Easy, Cruella. No puppies were harmed in the making of this bedding.”
Noah had emotional support vodka. Zane had an emotional support Felix.
Avi touched the platinum band around Felix’s finger, letting the humor drain from his voice, looking him in the eye so he knew he was being serious. “But I’m your idiot, right?” Felix’s gaze went all soft and hazy, reaching for Avi’s ring. “Forever and ever?” “Matching coffins, kitten. Matching coffins.”
