so that Major Hana could view it clearly. Suddenly Hana saw the AI in a completely different light. Early on Hana thought Desk should be able to distinguish between sarcasm and a command because he was a full AI. Somewhere along the way Hana somehow overlooked that. Desk was a full AI. He was not some kind of super automata. He was a real… person. And that person was flustered and afraid.

Knowledge was only data; it was what you did with it that mattered.
