You’d call up to the Nest Protect in the kitchen that dinner was ready and the smoke alarm in your kid’s bedroom would carry your voice. Now add a video camera or a smart lock into the mix and you’ve got a built-in security system with sensors in every room and alarms throughout the house. With every new Nest you’d install, your old Nest products would get better. Do more things. Open new avenues of convenience and possibility. And it would require very little from you.
