“You’re a ray of sunshine, Ash. You’re the only thing I’ve been looking forward to since I moved back. Maybe even before then,” he admits, his eyes going hazy. “Since my dad died.”
I’m not sure I can go without it again. Without her.
Because even after being this close to her, it isn’t enough. I want more. I want it all. I want her. All of her. The good. The bad. The ugly.
She’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever laid eyes on.
She’s right about pursuing anything other than a casual hookup turning our worlds upside down. What she doesn’t understand is…I’d be okay with it.
“I don’t mind complicated. Not if it’s for something I want.”
“Say you’re mine,” I growl.
“Say you’re mine, and I’ll fuck you, Sunshine.” My nostrils flare. “Say you’re mine, and I’ll give you whatever you want until you’re sick of me.” My chest heaves. “Say you’re mine, and I’ll treat you like a fucking queen.”
This girl. This damn girl. She might be the death of me.
Because she’s mine now. And there isn’t a chance in hell I’m ever letting her go.
Karma really is a bitch.
“We see what we want to see.”
“But for now, I wanna worship you again, Sunshine.”
“For as long as you’ll have me, Sunshine.”
