I wonder if there's a way to retrieve someone lost in a ter'angreal. I bet one of the Forsaken would know how to do it. I find it doubtful that during the Age of Legends, real Aes Sedai would sacrifice their students for the sake of a test. Doesn't that seem more like something born of necessity? Or out of ignorance?
