When the body and mind are harnessed by the habits of confusion then suffering shackles perception and, in the place of intimacy and joy, alienation and angst thrive. The spiritual path frees energy consumed by mechanical habit; the energy needed to break the shackles of delusion.

If I had something I would give it away. Having nothing I give that away too.

I lay down mind in the bed of ease. I lay down tomorrow and wake up in tomorrow when the play of tides again draws the deep of mind’s luminosity into the frolic of appearance.

. . . and I will love you again, like yesterday again, like tomorrow again, in this Long Now again, this emerging again, and resolving again
