“I need my mate, Barista. The time has come. I can feel the mating pull, and it’s driving me insane. You know how my kind is. Demons like me will go crazy if we don’t find our partner when it’s time. I will die, but I will burn this entire city down before that happens.”
These needy fucking monsters.
He was manipulative. I knew him and didn’t know if I’d actually be able to find someone who could survive his malice. Meduso was cruel and twisted and darker than any of the others I’d recently paired with humans. He wasn’t someone I’d ever thought of as deserving love. In fact, he was the exact type of creature I regularly refused to help. His madness wasn’t my problem.
Some creatures shouldn’t have mates— and I’d always classified him as one that shouldn’t.
He wanted someone who would submit, but that submission would come with a price.
Of course, that wouldn’t be the first thing to make her dance. Dating a monster would have to get in line behind being gay, being a stripper, and just being a disappointment to her in general.
I heard a sizzle to my left and turned, my eyes widening as a soft tentacle curled beneath my jacket and shirt— wrapping around my waist. A man stood behind me now, his presence swamping me. I started to turn, but then I felt a shock.
Meduso moved closer to me, and a bright pink and blue tentacle lifted, curling around my neck and pushing my chin up. I swallowed hard, trying to control the way my body was responding. Heat spread through me, my cock straining against my pants.
They will never have to work another day in their life. They will be able to buy whatever they want, eat whatever they want, travel to wherever they want so long as I am by their side.”
The tentacle around my neck tightened for a moment and then eased, slipping down my shirt. I whimpered as the tip found my nipple and twisted.
No, the Barista wasn’t that angry. I’d forced his hand, but I was desperate. My control was hanging on by a thread. The madness had started over a month ago, the cloud of darkness disrupting my mind. It was the Achilles heel of my kind.
I also didn’t want too much attention on us. Creatures were jealous, and Noah was an attractive human.
“Come sit in my lap.” When he didn’t immediately move, I growled. My tentacles burst from behind me, curling up his limbs and gripping him. He cried out and started to struggle— which made my cock pulse.
Noah stilled, whining.
“That’s right, my dark prince. Thrust your cock against me. Hump me, you little bastard.”
I wanted him to hear us. I wanted him to know how much of a slut my mate was.
“Stop,” I whispered, jealousy creeping over me like a dark cloud. The shock finally shattered like glass, rage filling me. I stood up, shaking. He ignored me, still pounding into her. “STOP!” I screamed.
“Sorry,” he said, his voice lecherous. “My mate has decided he does want me. Leave.”
“Yes. God damn it. Yes. Please don’t fuck anyone else like that again.” “Did I upset you?” he whispered. “I felt jealous,” I admitted weakly.
“No,” Noah moaned. “You’re my first.” “And your last,” I growled as I thrust into him.
“Go back to sleep,” Meduso murmured, nuzzling me. I blinked again. He looked… He looked sweet like this.
My cock was all over the internet. People were calling me all sorts of nasty things. Things that would forever stain my mind. I’d given my trust to a demon, and this was what I got. They’d filmed me in the club.
But he hadn’t asked me. He had betrayed the trust I had given him.
I glared at him as he slept. He had run from me.
“If you ever leave me again, you will be the one to die.”
“You’re so pretty when you cry, my prince,” Meduso whispered. “It’s a good thing you’re not immortal yet. Otherwise, I’d break you.” Yet??
I was being controlled, bound, and forced to serve him— and I reveled in every moment of it.
"You dare touch what belongs to me?" Meduso hissed. "Even after I ended your friend's lives. How dare you?"
