My Body Is Not a Prayer Request: Disability Justice in the Church

“I don’t need prayer for healing. My body has already been sanctified and redeemed,”

curing bodies and healing lives are not the same thing.

We need to disentangle ourselves from any system that claims there is a hierarchy of bodies and minds.

As if novelty is an excuse to deny someone’s civil rights.
