She might not be looking her best right now—her skin is pale, her makeup is smeared all over her face, and she’s got obvious tear tracks down her cheeks—but she’s beautiful. She always will be to me.
Ignoring Galen, Theo and my sister behind me, I shuffle forward, lowering myself to the chair and reaching out for her hand. She moans as we connect, and my heart aches knowing that she’s aware that I’m here. “Everything’s going to be okay, baby,” I say, rubbing across her knuckles with my thumb.
As I head for the bathroom, Seb’s cell lights up on the dresser, and I can’t help but laugh when I glance down at it and see the preview. Theo: I fucking hate you.
‘I love you,’ I mouth across the table, making her smile widen before she returns the sentiment.
“Just so you know,” he finally breathes, his voice deep and terrifying, “if you hurt him, I’ll rip your heart out with my bare hands.”
“Okay, so it’s more of a surprise then,” he confesses, dipping his head to my neck. “I don’t like s-surprises,” I gasp as he bites me. “Tough. Now, enough talking. I just want to hear you screaming.” “If you insist,” I moan as his lips tease me, allowing my legs to fall open in invitation. “Whore.” “Yours.” “Hell yeah, Princess. All fucking mine.”
“This,” he says, pointing between the two of us, “is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing. Fuck what anyone outside the two of you says or tries to do. Hold on tight and never fucking let go. Ever.”
“You’re a dirty fucking whore, Hellion,” he says, holding my eyes as he rubs my clit. “And you’re my whole fucking world.”
“Fierce.” Kiss. “So fucking strong.” Kiss. “My world.” Kiss. “My weakness.” Kiss.
“I love you, Hellion.” Her face softens, a content smile pulling at her lips. “I can’t wait to burn the rest of hell down together.”
