Therefore we see that even God’s angels adapt their appearance in order that men may see and communicate with them. This does not, however, mean that angels and demons have bodies that conform to the crudeness of men’s bodies, but neither does it mean that these spirits share in the kind of spiritual existence that alone can be attributed to God.
