his lawyer sends me emails with ridiculous buyout offers every other day.”
see. this couldn't be me. Half of a house or a ridiculous amount of money way above what the house is worth total? I'll take the money. I just don't care about a house that much. plus yeah I get her friend left it to her but she obviously didn't live there so it's not as if she meant to share some sort of connection. she left her an opportunity and having double the money the house is worth is an amazing opportunity. good gift friend!!
I stopped pondering eschatological matters in high school because they got me anxious and made me break out in hives under my left armpit (never the right; what’s up with that?). Then he hugs me back. He lifts me up like he’s too happy for me to even consider stopping himself, like this phone call I just had that changed my life changed his, too, like he’s been wanting this as much and as intensely as I have. And when he spins me around the room, one single, perfect whirl of pure happiness, that’s when I realize it. How incredibly, utterly gone for this man I am.
