This first chapter told me exactly how fast paced this book is about to be

and it figures that when I finally get everything that I want, it’s one hundred percent fake.

He’s fiercely loyal. He cares about people, even if he doesn’t know them.

We should have been shown this in small scenes leading up to this moment because this just sounds like a throwaway to convince us of Tripp’s feelings

Mmmm…the authors did a whack job of telling why he loves Dex. Like even having a prologue of their first meeting would have done better in showing why Tripp might develop feelings

“I always cry at weddings.” “Because they’re so beautiful?” “No, because every time a couple gets married, a manwhore fairy dies. We just killed someone, and you don’t even care.”

This is hilarious
