Because from where I’m standing, you and Brandon knew each other was special right from the start too. Maybe it wasn’t attraction or something you recognized right away,
I know my one focus, from now until eternity, is to make Brandon happy. Because he’s mine now. And I’m making it my responsibility.
Raymond glances up at me, then away again. “So, umm, you and Brandon—” “What part of ‘don’t ask questions’ did you miss?” “Sorry, Robbie.” “Better.
Brandon jokes about taming me, and while I might not be tamed, I am focused. On him. Only him. For as long as that idiot will have me.
Robbie is mine, and hearing people talk shit about him makes me ragey. Only I’m allowed to do that.
He’s got the hots for you. A little presidential hanky-pank? A VIP spank and wank?” “You’ve been hanging out with Robbie too much.”
He’s wearing the scarf I made him, the green bringing out his eyes, and seeing him helps me breathe properly again.
He trusts me. Completely. He’s perfect.
But while Robbie has always put fun first, even without having to say the words, I know that things have changed. I’m first.
Robbie is making a complete fool of himself in the middle of Greek Row. And I’ve never been more attracted to him in my life.
He’s dramatic and over-the-top, and when he throws in a kick and some ad-lib dance moves, a laugh slips out of me. My reaction lights him the fuck up. He winks, and I fall for him all over again.
The more I watch him, the more everyone else around us fades to nothing. And maybe I should be feeling some kind of embarrassment or urge to hide, but all I can think is that this dude in front of me is all mine, and I’m never letting him get away.
“I’m fucking ready, for this goddamn thing called love.”
Was it too much? Too soon? Then the bastard laughs, grabs my face, and kisses me.
all. I kiss Brandon with everything I’m worth. Zero chill, no holding back, I claim my man in front of the hundreds of people here, and I have no shame whatsoever about doing it.
“I love you. I’m crazy in love with you, Brando. And when I say crazy”—I indicate the chaos around us—“I mean it. I would do literally anything to see you smile.”
Brandon looks so happy, his vamp teeth are on full display. “Of course I love you. I think I always have.”
I’ve never told someone I love them before, and I know Robbie’s never said those words like he did to me. It’s another first we get to have together, and with any luck, there will be so many more.
“Robbie …” I cup his scruffy jaw. “Fuck I love you.” He presses a kiss to my straining cock. “I love you too.” “Wait.” I tilt my head. “Was that for me or my dick?” “Why not both?”
He’s fucking perfection. Masculine. Sexy. I still have no idea how he can drive me so far out of my mind, but I’m addicted to the feeling anyway. I don’t need reasons. I need him. Always.
“Can I tell you something?” I whisper once he’s also down to his briefs. “Always. Anything. Cum is thicker than water and all that.” “I think that’s supposed to be blood.” “Yeah, but we’re not just brothers anymore.” He flashes me a cheeky grin. “One day you’re going to say that around the wrong person.”
“I want to keep you.” He clears his throat, but his voice still comes out on a rasp. “I’m not going anywhere.”
“I do have a secret I can tell you that no one else knows.” “Oh, yeah?” “I’m going to marry him one day.” “What?” “I already know.” I shrug even though he can’t see me. “I’d propose to him now if we wouldn’t have to deal with everyone thinking we’re batshit crazy.” He makes a choking noise. “You’re serious.”
“Yeah, I’m going to need the link to that,” I say. “Why?” Zeke asks. “You guys going to fuck while you watch yourself on-screen?” “How narcissistic do you think I am?” No one answers, not even my own boyfriend. I point at him. “Tell them you’re on my side.” “Look, I would, but I’m worried that’s exactly where you were going with this.” My gaze strays back to the screen. “I do look really good.” Zeke hurries to close his laptop again as Chad bursts with laughter. “Let’s do this before Robbie gets his dick out.” Probably a fair call.
His eyes have darkened when he pulls back and runs his hands over the trim on the cape. “Think you can bring this to bed?” “Damn straight.” The others groan, and I shoot a quick wink at Brando before turning to Zeke. “But I’m gonna need that link first.”
A decade later, and it feels like nothing has changed. Robbie and Chad are smack talking, and Bailey is stuck to Chad’s side.
But now, instead of frat brothers to wreak havoc with, he’s got our five- and two-year-olds for backup. I’ll never tell him, but seeing the three of them plot against me might be the most adorable thing I’ve ever witnessed.
Zeke and Chad pull ahead of us, and I grin up at my husband. “Love you.” “I mean, you say that.” He waves a hand as we turn onto Greek Row. “But yet you still haven’t done a musical number for me.” “And I never will,” I promise him. “Well, you’re lucky I love you too, faults and all.”
“You miss it?” I ask. “Yeah. And no.” “No?” “Well, I lived for those days, for the brotherhood, but … that isn’t a home.” He nods to Zeke and Chad. “It’s us. Right here. And we’ve never lost that.”
No matter how busy we’ve gotten or where in the world we are, the four of us have never lost touch. Instead, our friendship circles have grown. Robbie and I have thrived. And all of us are living our best lives.
“With any luck,” I say, “we n...
