“Like you don’t go through my phone. We’re twins. There are no secrets, including our phone passwords. Though I will say, I kinda wish we were identical because your cock is gorgeous.” “Austin! Holy shit. Boundaries, asshole!”
“What? I’m kinda jealous of your dick. Mine’s nowhere near as thick.” I collapsed onto the couch, my hand over my head. “Oh. My. God. I should have called Larson.”
Me: Just so you know, you’re my favorite brother. My phone buzzed less than thirty seconds later. Larson: I don’t know what Austin is up to, but I plan to remind you of this next time you call me to fix something at your place.
I turned to where I’d thrown Fudge on the nightstand when we’d returned to the room and saw Seth’s bear beside it. “Are you two as confused as I am?” Had either of them responded, I would have been the first to check myself into the nearest mental hospital.
Mom: You shouldn’t take matters into your own hands. You know that’s up to the league officials to decide later. Mom: Of course that is as your mom. Not as your mom, you should have taken him to the ground. I know you can hit harder than that.
Manhandling. Never would have guessed it would turn my insides to goo while making my heart flutter and ass twitch. Today I learned.
“Hope you like red.” He held the bag out to Mazdon, who was just as confused as I was. When he pulled out a pair of pajamas that matched Nathan’s and Elliot’s, I was even more stunned. “Welcome to the family, Mazdon.”
“A little birdy told me there might be a guest tonight. I made sure Mom picked up an extra pair… just in case. And by the way he looked at you just now, I think he has earned the family pajamas.”
Mazdon: Will it be a problem if I’m not home tonight? Dillon: I’m looking at a very naked husband on the couch. Stay. Please. Mazdon: Note to self, never sit on the couch again. Dillon: If we’re doing that, don’t eat on the island, or at the table, stay off the steps… oh and you should probably find a new bed. Mazdon: GAH! What the hell is wrong with you??? STAY OUT OF MY ROOM!
From the kitchen, a gasp turned into a squeal of delight. “Oh my god! Santa came early.” Seconds later, Austin returned to the living room with an armload of dildos, grinning so wide it hurt.
“Dicks for everyone! Now I understand why Oprah always liked to give everyone in her audience free stuff. This is so much fun!” He turned to find his horrified brother standing behind him. “Oh, you most certainly get a dick. You need one.”
“Deck the halls with festive dongs. Bo-oi-oi-oi-oi oi oi-ing, Everywhere you turn it's lots of schlongs, bo-oi-oi-oi-oi oi oi-ing.”
Seth wriggled around and wrapped his arms around my shoulders, then licked my cheek. “Nope, you don’t get to scare him away. I licked him. He’s mine.”
Dad: Are you about to tell us that you like girls or something? Because the last time you acted like this, you told us you liked boys… That hadn’t been a surprise, but I’m older now, my heart can’t take a major shock. And now I’m worried about Mazdon, because you look at that guy like he hung the damned moon. Me: Oh my god. No! I do not like girls! At least not like that.
“Spill. No more pishy poshy talk around bush stuff.” “Do you mean wishy washy and beating around the bush?” Yuri kicked my shin under the table. “You Americans have stupid sayings.
His hand landed gently over my heart. I knew just how much power was in that hand—a slapshot that averaged over ninety miles per hour, a punch that could take a guy to his knees, and a spank that made my entire body tingle with pleasure and pain—but no one would believe me if I told them how much tenderness he showed when he held me like this or cradled me in his arms as we drifted off to sleep at night.
He got about two feet away from me and flung himself in my direction. It was only because I’d seen him out of the corner of my eye that I managed to brace myself enough that we both didn’t end up on the ice. In my arms, Seth wrapped his legs around my waist and he adjusted so his arms were around my neck. My muscles shook under his weight, but I wasn’t going to let myself drop him with cameras around us. He grinned down at me, his excitement matching my own. Six months earlier, I would’ve never believed I’d be heading to the Stanley Cup playoffs with my boyfriend. “I can’t belie—” My words

“You know that kiss is already trending, right?” He laughed, finally untangling his legs from my waist and dropping to the ice. “In at least four different countries. It’s probably already on the front page of ESPN.”
I hadn’t expected Seth to out us on home ice after a huge win, but that was what had happened and it seemed fitting for us. Nothing about our relationship had been expected. Nothing had followed a plan or a book or a rule.
