As you accumulate this knowledge it feels somehow practical and valuable, and hence rewarding, as though there is an imperative driving you forward to accumulate and organize the knowledge. It’s like assembling the final few pieces of a complicated puzzle, and it generates a similar satisfaction as those pieces fall into place.
I might suck at remembering knowledge but I love accumulating and organizing it.
