Imagination is one of the most powerful faculties God has given us, particularly when it comes to hearing his voice with our hearts as well as our heads. As Mark Twain put it, “You can’t depend upon your eyes when your imagination is out of focus.”14 And the fact that our minds are such a battleground merely underlines the tactical importance they hold.
