We delivered an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) project on our client’s Azure infrastructure, automatically installing, configuring, and operating an enterprise document management product. We utilized an “Ops as Infrastructure-as-a-Service” pattern for this project. This included early involvement from the Ops team who were checking in operational code and developers who focused on non-functional production requirements from day one. Individuals from the siloed tooling team from the earlier stage were present to help support the infrastructure while this happened.
