“I would’ve killed him.” He didn’t bother to look at me, still staring out the window. “Killed him for ditching me?” “No. For asking you in the first place.”

She felt safe. She felt loved. She felt everything.
Did you forget that, too? How you destroyed an entire city and all its people for her?”
“This world never deserved you.”
“I would burn in eternal flames for her.”
