Like a single biker who was found in the park, sitting on a bench after having shot himself.
“You know, instead of carrying me all the way down here, the easiest thing would have been just to call me back six years ago,” I snapped.
so instead of getting the kiss I wanted, I lightly pressed my lips to her forehead, brushing her hair with my fingers, and fell asleep, holding my girl in my arms, and my two brothers close by. We were together, safe, and strong.
“You fucking touch her, and I’ll give you to him to sell, do you understand?”
“He was attacked by some biker when he was a kid,”
“We’re keeping her now, right?” From behind us, I could hear Lee suck in a sharp breath, then stop, as though he was holding it as he waited with anticipation for an answer. I felt Vail’s lips in my hair, his nose lightly skimming along my temple, before he breathed, “Yes.”
“Because my heart aches for you, my soul cries for you. I need you and you need me. I’ve loved you from the very first moment, Casey. That’s never changed.”
This was going to be fun.
“And brace yourself, darling. Lee might have had his fun, but you’re still standing. When I’m through with you, you won’t be able to walk for days.”
“It’s inevitable that we would end up here. We were always meant to end up together.”
“It was always me and you, Casey. And while I’ll share you with my brothers, I will still have the final say, because our souls always belonged together. And that’s why, when we finally get the fuck out of Harley, I’m going to be the one who marries you and gets dibs on the first baby.”
“Mange, mon chaton. J'ai bien l'intention de te faire l'amour ce soir.”
“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt,”
“Heard from them?... When?... I know you can’t say where, but… she what? A boy?... Really? And it’s his for sure?... Fuck me…”
