These two boys grew the fuck up, and damn. I was in trouble. Both were gorgeous in their own way, both standing with that confidence I’d always loved. That same familiarity was there, but it was different now. We were different. We were older, and God only knew how much we’d all changed. But a small part of my heart was aching for them, wishing that we could just go back to the way it was.
“I don’t need any favours,” I said firmly, not understanding what he meant by that. “Sometimes, bad things just happen… and you can let it destroy you, or you can suck it up and move the fuck on.”
“You fucking touch her, and I’ll give you to him to sell, do you understand?”
Hand still pressed to my heart, Vail leaned in, his lips brushing over mine, while his other hand cupped my cheek and murmured, “We’re your family now.”
“Shaw, I know you want to but…” Vail’s voice trailed off a little, and it worried me how disturbed he sounded, “... but I need her tonight.”
“Vail,” Shaw rasped. “Yeah?” His voice was sleepy, relaxed, and for once, sounded content. I nestled in a little closer, feeling like I was home in his arms. Shaw paused for a moment before whispering, “We’re keeping her now, right?”
“I’m not letting you go this time,” he breathed, his lips pressing a kiss just below my ear. “We won’t let you go.”
“Because my heart aches for you, my soul cries for you. I need you and you need me. I’ve loved you from the very first moment, Casey. That’s never changed.”
I wanted them… all three of them. Each one touched a part of my soul in different ways, and when one of the three were gone, I found myself aching for them. When I lived on The Hill, I missed all three, thought about all three, missed all three. How could I choose only one? I needed all three.
“And brace yourself, darling. Lee might have had his fun, but you’re still standing. When I’m through with you, you won’t be able to walk for days.”
“I want to feel you around me. I wanna feel your heat, your cream on my dick. I want to come in you every fucking time, because I want to know you’re walking around with a part of me inside you.”
We all loved her. We all needed her in our own way. But we also needed each other. That was why we never fought about it.
“I need you tonight. I need to feel all three of you to know we made it out. We’re together, and that’s all that matters to me.”
“We’re a family, period,” Vail said, turning back to me, reaching for my left hand to hold the ring up to my fourth finger. “So no matter what, we’re together. All of us.”
