Nobody on the team is in charge of anyone else. That doesn’t mean every decision is up for discussion; people have final say over their areas of expertise. For example, programmers can’t override customers’ opinions about product priorities, and customers can’t override programmers’ opinions about technical necessity. Similarly, you’ll still have senior team members who take the lead on important decisions.
