Partially done stories don’t count. At the end of the iteration, if you have any partially done stories, create a new story for the work remaining and give it a new estimate, if you’re using estimates. (See “Incomplete Stories” for details.) The part done in this iteration doesn’t count toward your capacity, which means your capacity will go down.
