this Western desire to become experts of Indigenous cultures and communities but without understanding that Indigenous cultures are more complex than the linear and binary Western way of thinking that academia and policies continue to be deeply grounded in. With all of this information, we are left with the question, What is environmental justice for Indigenous communities of Latin America?
