You’ve probably heard of “practicing the Sabbath,” which is part of the Jewish tradition of resting from work for one day a week in order to more fully appreciate life. Most faith and wisdom traditions suggest some variation on this weekly practice of stepping back and reflecting on things. It helps us get the most out of our experience.
