In the Long Run

Mistakes like these were supposed to be for your twenties, right? Nights where you acted solely on what your hormones wanted. Well, Brooke had never done any of this in her twenties.

“I left and found something else that suited me.”

The thing you’re running away from is exactly what someone else is running toward. Make your mistakes. Chase your dreams. Speak your truth. Listen to other people’s truths along the way.

Taylor knew she was a rare breed, but she’d always loved airports. She loved the sense of being totally lost in time; major airports didn’t know night or day, they operated just the same at all hours.
