I aim the gun at Jason. ‘You wouldn’t shoot me,’ he says with a sneer. The noise echoes in the large kitchen, an explosion that ricochets off the walls. Wouldn’t I?

Oh my goodness how did I not notice the parallels from this scene from that of the first chapter? Only saw when I went back through my highlights. Haha love this line even more now !
